History

L'Hôtel du Petit Moulin is an authentic and secret hotel, located in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement in Paris in the upper Marais, a district that has witnessed history. It was originally the oldest bakery in Paris, dating back to the time of Henri IV. The façade was renovated in 1900 and is classified as a historical monument. The legend says that Victor Hugo, living on the Place des Vosges, used to come there to get his bread!

CHRISTIAN LACROIX

Christian Lacroix entered the world of fashion with a bang, leaving the public in awe at his first Haute Couture show in 1987. Volumes, colors, fabric mixes are inspired by the south of France and the artists he met or studied during his studies at the Ecole du Louvre. Feathers, ruffles, mantillas, tulle intertwine in a firework display of materials and colors. An expert in the art of whimsical mixtures of styles, folklore and eras,Hôtel du Petit Moulin was his first hotel project.

"As in couture where harmony is created in a puzzle of inspiration where the air of our time is nourished by elements of the past, where modernity lives the tradition of the present."
