CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF A SERVICE BOOKING
Customers are reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, in accordance with article L. 221-28 paragraph 12 of the French Consumer Code, which excludes this right in the case of contracts for accommodation and/or healthcare services to be provided on a specific date or at a specific time.

For each service booking, the Special Conditions specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or modifying the booking.

Reservations with prepayment cannot be modified and/or cancelled. Deposits (sums paid in advance) will not be reimbursed. In this case, this is mentioned in the Special Conditions.

Where permitted by the Special Conditions:

- Cancellation of a reservation for a service may be made directly on the Site via the "Consult or cancel your reservation" section;

- Modification of a reservation for a service may be made directly with the establishment, whose telephone and other contact details are specified on the reservation confirmation sent by e-mail.

If a service is interrupted due to the customer's fault, the full price agreed upon will be collected. In the case of reservations with prepayment before the stay, no refund will be granted.

In the case of an accommodation service, unless otherwise expressly stipulated in the Special Conditions, the customer must leave the establishment's room before the time indicated by the establishment, i.e. 12.00 p.m. on the day the reservation ends. Failure to do so will result in the customer being charged for an additional night's stay.

‍RIGHTTO REGISTER ON THE LIST OF OPPOSITION TO TELEPHONIC SAMPLING: In accordance with article L.223-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial prospecting by telephone may, free of charge, register on a list of opposition to telephone canvassing. This list is accessible via the following website:www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

APPLICABLE LAW AND SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES The General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions applicable in the country of residence of consumers.

The Customer is informed by SAS Villa Du Marais of the possibility of having recourse, in the event of a dispute relating to the present General Terms and Conditions, to a conventional mediation procedure or to any other alternative dispute resolution method, under the conditions provided for in Title I of Book VI of the French Consumer Code.

In the event of a negative response or no response within sixty (60) days from the date of referral, the Customer may refer the matter to the Association of European Mediators (AME), by telephone on 09 53 01 02 69 or via their website www.mediationconso-ame.com.

The Mediation officer may be contacted within twelve (12) months of the first complaint.
